Daniella (Dani) is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern with a passion for developing healthy relationships with yourself and others.

As a sex-positive, kink-aware, LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, Dani has a passion for working with clients questioning parts of their sexuality or relationship style that may not fit the mainstream. Regardless of sexuality, you might be struggling to communicate your needs in relationships in general, wrestling with shame about desires that feel right to you, or trying to figure out who you are when the world keeps telling you who you should be. Whether you’re navigating these questions solo or with your partner(s), this is a place to be able to explore those things safely. Being trained in marriage and family therapy means that Dani is trained in systems thinking; simply put, she tries to understand where people are coming from by considering their relationships and experiences throughout their lives. Relationships shape us in similar ways to how we shape them. We all contain multitudes—different voices and parts of ourselves that sometimes harmonize, sometimes clash, and sometimes refuse to listen to each other. Her role is to help you hear all these inner voices without judgment, so you can intentionally choose which ones guide your actions.

Dani specializes in supporting individuals, couples, and polycules across all relationship structures, with a particular focus on those navigating sexuality and exploring kink, polyamory, and other alternative relationship styles. She works with partners facing communication and intimacy challenges, as well as individuals processing shame around desire and authenticity. Dani also supports those struggling with self-esteem and recurring relational patterns, and provides ADHD-affirming care for neurodivergent individuals and relationships.

She weaves together being informed and guided by principles of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy to help people relate to their internal experiences, Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy to help romantic partnerships connect, narrative therapy to reclaim your story, and attachment work to understand your relational patterns, always with an awareness of the many voices within you.
